Robert Spencer's career in the trade began in 2001, first as an apprentice electrician and then across public sector, contracting and self-employed roles — working on domestic, commercial, industrial and agricultural installations along the way. That grounding gives him a practical, no-nonsense approach to electrical work, general building and everything in between.
In August 2026, after eight years running his own electrical, renovation and maintenance work through PDS Derbyshire Ltd, Robert went fully independent — taking everything learned since 2001 into a new chapter as a self-employed electrician and labourer, available directly to homeowners and businesses, or on a subcontract basis, across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.
