Since going fully self-employed in August 2026, Robert has taken on general labouring alongside his electrical and building work — supporting main contractors and other trades on site, rather than only working his own jobs. Having an electrical and multi-trade background means the support on offer is a step up from general labouring alone: material handling and site assistance, but also someone who understands what the other trades on site are actually doing.
What's included
- General site labouring
- Multi-trade site assistance
- Support for main contractors and other trades
Why choose Robert for this
A labourer who understands electrical and building work tends to be more useful on a mixed-trade site than general labour alone — fewer things need explaining twice.
Labouring & Site Support — FAQs
Do you work as labour support for other contractors, or only on your own jobs?
Both — supporting main contractors and other trades on site is a regular part of the work, alongside Robert's own electrical and building jobs.
